On July 6th, the DepHUB's Executive Director and Founder, Shamira was acknowledged as a "Alumni Success" by The Australia Awards Africa (AAA) .
The AAA is the cornerstone of the Australian Government's development assistance program for Africa. The AAA Scholarships are the Australian Government’s competitive, merit-based scholarships providing opportunities for Mid- to Senior-level professionals, and individuals from selected African countries to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia. Masters Scholarships for study in Australia are offered to high-calibre future leaders across public, private and community sectors.
On their return to the workplace, Australia Awards alumni are expected to contribute to the development of their home countries.
Shamira is an AAA alumni and Graeme Wilson Leadership Prize (2016) recipient.
